Service update: Changes to our services for customers in blocks

  • 18th March 2024

  • Customers

We are working in partnership with our contractors to change the way some of our services run.

These changes will mean we can keep service charges as low as we can, while also doing our bit for the environment.

  • Communal cleaning

This service is moving to a once a week schedule, while maintaining the same cleaning time as before. Keeping your area clean and tidy is a priority, and the same amount of time will be spent each week in cleaning your block. For example, the two 15 minute cleans will now be one 30 minutes clean. Cleaning tasks that were split over two days, will now be done in one day.

  • Grounds maintenance

We are moving from a cut and collect to a cut and drop service. This means grass cuttings will not be collected. Not only will this reduce both costs and our carbon footprint, this will also improve the condition of grassed areas by providing more nutrients for the soil.

We understand that you may be concerned about these changes. We want to reassure you that keeping your area clean and tidy is a priority, and we are working with our contractors to ensure we deliver a quality service to you.
