Improving lift reliability for our customers

We know how frustrating it can be when a lift breaks down, especially if you rely on it every day. That’s why we’re always reviewing how our lift services are delivered, to make sure they are as safe and reliable as possible.

From 1 February 2026, Guideline Lift Services Ltd will provide lift repair and maintenance services for 56 lifts across our homes.

What this means for you

Under the new contract, you can expect:

  • A professional and responsive lift repair service
  • Regular maintenance
  • Less breakdowns

Using technology to reduce breakdowns

We want to make sure our lifts work all the time. To help us do this, we will be using smart technology to spot any potential issues with a lift. This will mean we can take action before a breakdown happens, helping to keep lifts available.

Delivering lift services more efficiently also helps us save money. We can then use this saving to reinvest in other services and improvements across our homes.
