Leading Midlands landlord whg has marked the end of a year of celebrations for its 20th anniversary with a special ceremony at its head office.
A new outdoor space for reflection has been created and marked with a ‘memory tree’ and a time capsule containing mementos of significant achievements since whg was formed in 2003.
Colleagues and local schoolchildren attended the event at its Walsall office to reflect on what whg has achieved over the past two decades and its positive impact on local communities.
Vicky Green, Head of Inclusion and Organisational Culture, said: “Colleagues wanted to share a moment to pause, reflect, celebrate and remember things that are important to them.
“In our 20th anniversary this feels like a great time to start a new whg tradition, so we are dedicating an outdoor reflection space where all colleagues can come together throughout the year to celebrate our diversity and culture.”
Local children from Butts Primary School choir also provided a soundtrack to the occasion, while colleagues joined in with the singing.
