Long term investor and placeshaper whg has taken handover of the final affordable homes at a new development on the edge of Stourbridge town centre.

whg worked with local property developer Revelan Group, Black Country based contractor Amphion Construction, architects BM3, consultants RPS, pmp, OES & Greenways and Dudley MBC to transform the former Tudor Dairies, on Lowndes Road, into a new community. The development includes a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom homes, with 15 available for shared ownership and 36 for affordable rent.

Rebecca Bennett Casserly, Corporate Director of Development at whg, said: “We’re thrilled to have completed our first development in Stourbridge. This successful partnership with Revelan Group has allowed us to breathe new life into a previously unused site and provide much-needed affordable housing for the local community.

“Developing partnerships such as this allows us to do more and achieve more for our customers and our communities by creating mixed and well-designed communities that cater to a range of housing needs.”

Paul Doolan, of Revelan Group, added: “Revelan is delighted to have worked with whg on the redevelopment of the Tudor Dairies site. The collaboration has been a great success, and we are proud to be supporting the delivery of affordable housing across the Midlands.”
