The iconic former Royal Hospital in Wolverhampton had stood empty since its closure in 1997 and has now been revitalised as part of a wider area transformation made possible through the collaborative efforts of whg, City of Wolverhampton Council, Homes England and developer Morro Partnerships.

The first residents have already begun moving in, benefitting from the support of an on-site officer and a programme of social activities. Combining independent and communal living, Nightingale House in Wolverhampton is whg’s seventh wellbeing scheme. There is also availability at similar schemes in Walsall.
