Katie is an urban designer and heritage consultant, with a passion for placemaking for all. She is a director of Birmingham-based built environment consultancy, Node.

Katie’s experience includes master planning projects ranging from complex urban infill sites through to large scale urban extensions and new communities, together with the production of guidance to drive up the standard of new design. She has also planned and delivered a wide range of stakeholder and community engagement initiatives, designed to engage a broad spectrum of people in the design process.

Katie is an experienced Board Member in the housing sector and an associate lecturer in placemaking at the University of Birmingham.
