Communal cleaning service

Pinnacle Group deliver the communal cleaning service on behalf of whg. It covers communal spaces, which may be different depending on the type of building you live in. Our service standards explain what you can expect from this service.
Your regular cleaning service
Small low rise blocks receive a full weekly clean so cleaning is completed more thoroughly.
Several sites have a dedicated Pinnacle operative, meaning one person is responsible for keeping the block clean and you see the same familiar face regularly.
Essential services, such as bin rotations in high rise blocks, continue at weekends and on bank holidays to help prevent waste overflows and blockages.
Deep cleaning
Every block receives a deep clean once a year. This is a thorough clean of all communal areas, including steam cleaning carpets, polishing hard floors and cleaning walls and ceilings.
Safety and sustainability
During cleaning, warning signs such as “Cleaning in Progress” and “Wet Floor” are displayed and equipment is managed carefully to reduce trip risks.
Approved cleaning products are used to minimise harm to the environment while keeping your block clean.
Reporting a cleaning issue
If you notice a cleaning problem in your communal areas, please contact us or speak to a colleague so we can arrange for it to be put right. You can also follow the reporting information on your communal noticeboard if your block has one.
