Leading Midland’s landlord whg has unveiled its new fleet of vans, which will be used to provide vital services to more than 40,000 customers.

whg will be taking delivery of 217 vehicles over the next few months, which will enable the housing association’s asset management team to deliver a fast and responsive repairs and maintenance service to more than 40,000 customers.

The investment will ensure whg is fit for the future, with a reliable, and more environmentally friendly fleet of vehicles that have been designed with the future growth of the business in mind. With a better designed internal storage system designed specifically for whg’s needs, the vans will enable colleagues to carry more equipment, supporting them to work more efficiently.

Darren Russell, transport operations manager, said: “After more than seven years on the road, our previous vans has reached the end of their life cycle.

“This new fleet will enable us to better respond to the needs of our customers while also improving our carbon footprint.  Having a new fleet helps to achieve improved vehicle reliability and keeping the vehicle on the road helps towards whg continuing in maintaining excellent services to our customers”

“Our vans are one of our most recognised assets and we are delighted to reveal a brand new look to the vehicles, which will hit the roads in the next few weeks.”
