Leading Midland’s landlord whg is handing out bags of kindness to its younger customers to help beat summer boredom.

The Health and Wellbeing Team has delivered 200 goody bags to families who would normally have attended whg’s annual customer open day, which was cancelled this year due to the coronavirus.

The seaside-themed bags, which even contain whg rock and a kite, were distributed this week.

Social Prescribing Manager Lisa Sylvester said: “Our annual customer open day is always a great day out for our customers, with children’s games and activities, free food and the chance to find out more about what whg can offer.

“We knew how disappointed some of our customers would be when we were forced to cancel it, so decided to bring the fun directly to them, with a good bag bursting with activities and games to beat summer boredom.

“The kites in particular have been a huge hit – nothing beats getting outdoors with your family to fly a kite!”
