Leading Midlands landlord whg has teamed up with a Wednesbury nursery to support more parents hoping to get back into work.
The landlord has joined forces with Music Box, on Hall Street East, to offer free childcare to parents wishing to attend whg training courses and workshops.
The nursery, which caters for 35 children under 5, has been rated good by Ofsted, with all staff DBS checked and first aid trained.
Nursery manager Sarah Soden said: “Partnerships like this are so important to help improve the lives of parents and young children in Walsall. By working with whg we hope to reach out to more families and encourage more parents to take up the offer of free funded childcare places.
Social Inclusion Manager Connie Jennings said: “Issues with childcare is one of the main barriers to getting a job for many parents. We are delighted to be working with Music Box, to support local people who are keen to improve their skills and get into work, by signposting them to free and flexible childcare places in their neighbourhood.”
