Jobseekers in Walsall can find out how to get on the steps to employment at a special whg event in Willenhall this November.
Leading Midland’s landlord whg is holding a training and employment event at Beechwood House, New Road, on 7th November between 10am and 2pm.
People will be able to drop in to find out about the support offered by whg’s Employment and Training Team.
This includes tips on CV writing and filling in application forms, interview practise, access to free training in a range of different sectors, help from a professional work coach and support in finding the latest job vacancies.
The team will also be on hand to discuss volunteering opportunities and confidence building activities as well as provide information about health, wellbeing and money advice.
Employment and Skills Manager Alison Matthews said: “This is a great chance for people to get help finding the right job. We will be offering a CV MOT for customers, as well as providing up to date information on current vacancies and help with applications.”
Visitors will also be able to find out about a new weekly job club being launched at Beechwood House in November.
