We are one of the Midlands' leading and most successful providers of affordable homes.

whg has teamed up with firefighters to launch a safety campaign aimed at preventing fires.

Leading Midland’s landlord whg has joined forces with West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) on the week-long safety drive, which starts on Tuesday 26th February.

Over the next seven days fire officers will be visiting all 17 of whg’s high rise blocks to meet with customers, give general fire prevention advice and offer free home safety checks.

Customers will be able to meet and discuss any concerns they have with senior directors from whg and members of WMFS.

A full fire safety inspection of each block will also be carried out by safety officers. During the inspection, they will be gathering customer feedback and holding drop in sessions.

Paul Dockerill, Director of Energy and Programme Management, said: “At whg, the safety of our customers will always be our first priority. This campaign, which is in addition to the routine checks we already carry out at all our high rise properties, aims to reassure families that they are safe where they live, while also ensuring they know what to do in the event of a fire.”

A schedule of the planned visits is shown below. Customers who have any queries about the fire safety visits can call 0300 555 6666.
