Dozens of colleagues from leading Midlands landlord whg scaled Wales’ highest mountain this March to mark the culmination of a year of charity fundraising.
A total of 90 colleagues, along with representatives from local businesses, reached the summit of Snowdon on 31st March to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The 100-strong group took just six hours to complete the challenge, raising more than £8000 in the process.
Paul Dockerill, whg’s Director of Energy and Programme Management said: “It’s great to be part of such an amazing team. Everyday we face challenges at work, in our own lives and achieve wonderful things. To take that kind of energy and courage to Snowdon on Saturday and do what we did was fantastic. I was proud to have shared this with some wonderful colleagues.”
Their efforts mean that whg has smashed their target of £25,000 for the year for Cancer Research.
