Kind-hearted colleagues from whg have put their best foot forward to raise more than £10,000 for charity.

More than 60 colleagues and contractors set off from the Hatherton Street Office on 10 December to walk the 11 miles to Birmingham to raise cash for Black Country Food Bank.

Paul Dockerill, whg’s Director of Energy and Programme Management, led a team of colleagues to organise the event. He said: “The Black Country Foodbank is a brilliant charity which does great work supporting our communities and customers.

“Our colleagues and partners have really given it their all to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause. With sponsorship still coming in we hope to smash our fundraising record this year and give back even more to our communities at what can be a really tough time.”

whg was supported by several companies for the charity walk including Envirocall, Dodd Group, Legionella and Fire Safe Services, S J Donnelly, Blyth Group and Deeo.
