whg is encouraging customers to have their say on proposed changes to Walsall Council’s Community Alarm Service.

This service, which includes wearing a special pendant that can be pressed for urgent help at home, may be stopped as the council consider cost saving measures.

Although no decisions have been made, one of the options being considered is to stop providing this service.

whg’s Corporate Director of Operations Fay Shanahan said: “We would encourage anyone who uses, or knows someone who uses, this service provided by Walsall Council, to take part in the consultation and make their views heard.”
