Brave staff from leading Midland’s landlord whg are preparing to brave the cold as they sleep rough for charity.
More than 20 colleagues have signed up for St Basils Big Sleepout in Birmingham on 30th November.
They will be spending the night in the grounds of Birmingham Cathedral to raise money to help prevent youth homelessness.
The event is a major fundraiser for the city charity, which gets young homeless people back on their feet.
Corporate Director Rob Gilham, who will be taking part in the fundraiser, said: “With the temperature in the single figures I’ve no doubt it will be a tough night for all involved, but nothing like what those people who sleep rough night after night are forced to contend with.
“As a housing association we are proud to be leading the fight against homelessness, and this event is a great way to help raise vitally needed funds to prevent youth homelessness across the West Midlands.”
The big Brum Sleepout is St Basils’ largest event of the year, with more than 800 people taking part.
