Here you can find information about being a tenant of whg, including ways in which we can support you to maintain your tenancy, how to rent a garage and what you do if you want to move out of your home.

If you became a whg customer before September 1st 2012, please choose one of the following:

1. To view the tenancy agreement which applies to customers who were Walsall Council tenants, transferring to whg on March 27th 2003, click here
2. To view the tenancy agreement which applies to customers who have joined whg as an assured tenant between March 27th 2003 and September 1st 2012, click here
3. To view the tenancy agreement which applies to customers who have joined whg between July 2nd 2007 and September 1st 2012 and are not transferring from another registered provider, click here.

If you became a whg customer on or after September 1st 2012, please choose one of the following:

1. To view the tenancy agreement which applies to customers who did not transfer from a council or housing association click here. Upon successful completion of the first year a new agreement will apply - click here.
2. To view the tenancy agreement which applies to customers bidding on a property let at Affordable Rent, who did not transfer from a council or housing association,  click here. Upon successful completion of the first year a new agreement will apply - click here.
3. To view the tenancy agreement which applies to an existing whg customer, or a customer who has transferred from another social landlord, who held an assured or secure tenancy since before 1st April 2012,  click here. This will not apply if you were offered an affordable or market rental tenancy. 
4. To view the tenancy agreement which applies for customers who were previously tenants with Walsall Council and moved to another property within whg that is not being let as an affordable or market rental, click here.
5. To view the tenancy agreement which applies to a customer who did not transfer from a council or housing association and a starter tenancy was offered, click here. These are used for specific property types, for example age designated blocks, and upon successful completion of the first year an assure tenancy will be offered.
