whg was formed in 2003 as a result of a stock transfer from Walsall Council. Since then we have invested more than £350m in our homes and we offer a wide range of services that complement our role as a landlord and employer in Walsall.
We have a sound business and our work has put whg firmly on the map. We are a learning organisation that responds and makes changes to meet future housing and community needs.
We have invested in our business and streamlined our services to meet the needs of our customers. A culture of customer involvement and continuous improvement is in place, to ensure that we keep our eye on getting the basics right and bringing excellence to what we do. Customer satisfaction has been on a strong upward trend and has doubled in the eight years since our launch. Confidence shown in us by partners and stakeholders is demonstrable and reflects the strong and successful business platform that we have established.
We work closely with a range of key partners to achieve our aims and we value these relationships. In particular, our partnership work with Walsall Council and the other members of the Local Strategic Partnership provides real benefit to our customers and the wider community of Walsall.
