At whg we have a legal requirement to carry out annual gas safety checks of all gas appliances in our properties.  Faulty appliances can cause explosions and can also give off potentially fatal carbon monoxide fumes.
 
Each year, we write to our customers to let them know that a gas inspection is due. We need to gain access to the property to carry out the inspection which takes about an hour and a half and is completed by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
 
If you don't allow us access to your home, you are in breach of your tenancy agreement and we will take strong action, through the courts if necessary, to preserve your safety and that of your family and neighbours.
