Bogus caller crime is where vulnerable or older people are targeted in the hope of gaining access to their home by someone claiming to be a representative from an organisation. Most people who call will be genuine, but sometimes someone may turn up unannounced, with the intention of tricking their way into a person’s home and committing a burglary.
whg want to help protect our customers from bogus callers, which is why we’ve developed a password scheme.
Once registered with the password scheme, you can advise any whg representative that you are password protected. If the caller is from whg they will contact us directly to get your password. This may take a few moments while the information is accessed.
Customers can choose their own password and register with the scheme by contacting customer services on 0300 555 6666 or by completing the form below.
