Our Resident Engagement team has developed a new project that enables customers to audit the housing services we provide - the Tenant Inspector project. This is a nationally recognised initiative and will assist whg in strengthening customer involvement.
The project builds on the current menu of options already available to our customers and provides a more robust framework of involvement opportunities.
Tenant Inspectors will be involved at various levels in inspecting our services through the use of telephone surveys, interviews, mystery shopping, reviewing policies and procedures and service reviews.
The project is managed by a steering group made up of nine inspectors and three colleagues, with the group meeting bi-monthly. Meetings set for 2010/2011 are as follows:
At these meetings, members discussareas of the business and identify potential inspections. If you have any ideas or suggestions for the inspectors based on your experiencesthen please contact us to add to the agenda or send them by email to tenantinspectors@whgrp.co.uk
This is an extremely powerful tool that allows customers to assist whg with shaping and developing services to meet customer needs.
We are recruiting customers to join the project all throughout the year. We will provide comprehensive training that will allow you to carry out the roles of an inspector with confidence. If you are a customer of whg and you are interested in becoming an inspector then please contact the Resident Engagement team on 0300 555 6666 or by e-mail at residentengagement@whgrp.co.uk
