tenant member elections

Elections are held annually to choose Local Tenant Committee Members for each local area . The make up of each area committee consists of five tenants, three independents and one Local Authority Member.  Each tenant member serves a maximum of three years before having to stand down for re-election, and it is at this time that other eligible whg tenants are invited to put forward nominations for Local Tenant Committee Members

The 2010 tenant member elections started in May with the nomination phase which has generated two elections within constituencies in Willenhall and Aldridge and Brownhills.

Customers living in these areas will have their voting slips posted to them and have until 12 noon on 11th August to return it to whg when they will be formally counted.  The successful candidate will be announced and appointed to the Local Trusts at the September Annual General Meeting with a further announcement made in the customer newsletter.
