Walsall Council is responsible for dealing with three types of benefit:

  • Council tax benefit
  • Housing benefit
  • Free school meals
If you are unsure whether you are entitled to Housing Benefit, you can visit the Walsall Council website, where you will find contact details for Benefits Services (new window), Frequently Asked Questions (new window) and on-line calculator (new window) that can give you a benefits estimate.
 
whg can help with Housing Benefit claims by:  
  • Offering assistance to our tenants to complete claim forms, subject to obtaining any data protection consents that might be needed.
  • Advising you of the information required to support the claim and the importance of providing that information as quickly as possible.
